The event

The NoMotor150 is a gravity-powered soapbox derby — seven cars built by Jasper Group’s production facilities and corporate office, driven by local kids, racing to celebrate 150 years of Jasper Group’s oldest furniture factory (est. 1876, believed to be the oldest continuously operating furniture factory in America).

The cause

Every dollar benefits the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition (SWICACC), serving children who have experienced abuse or neglect across Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Orange, Perry, and Spencer counties through forensic interviews, advocacy, and medical coordination. Donations and sponsorships go directly to SWICACC — Jasper Group never holds the funds. This app tracks pledges for totals and recognition only, verified against Venmo weekly. Prefer a check? Make it payable to SWICACC and drop it off at the event table.

Donations and sponsorships do not affect race results or car awards. The winning team just gets bragging rights.
